College is the time to explore new ideas, dive deeper into interests, and challenge yourself to be a critical and independent thinker. Buffalo State offers a number of learning communities - which are two paired classes in the fall and one related class in the spring - that were developed around a common theme. The course sizes are small and the faculty are passionate. Out of class experiences, like field trips and social activities, enhance what students are learning in class.
Read more about the learning communities that are being offered to incoming first-year students for 2017-18. Students can let the college know about their interest in the communities as part of their orientation registration process. Space is limited in these exciting communities of scholars, so act fast!
