Stay positive and use positive self-talk.
Have a growth mindset as you adapt to the new circumstances surrounding your life and your classes. Your success depends on your effort as much as your ability.
Make sure you check notifications and your student email regularly.
Reach out to your instructors about your classes.
Check in with classmates and friends.
Set a schedule for yourself to sit down and "attend class" regularly - if possible, pick a time when you feel most productive. Some people focus best in the morning, while others focus best at 2 am. Find something that works for you.
Use the Google, Office 365, or another calendar system to put in important due dates and alerts for upcoming deadlines. Have a reminder that comes up a couple of days before things are due - not on the due date! (How to make a fixed commitment calendar)
Double check when (not just the date) assignments are due.
Create a checklist for each week (or each day, if that works better for you). Having a paper planner can also be helpful for some people.
Determine a productive process to work - you might need to have a full morning routine to get focused for school or you might find that sitting at the right table with a notebook can get you focused.
Find a comfortable space that allows you to focus. If you have the option, set up a workspace at home. If not, do something that means "I am at school now" - put up a sign, set up a pencil holder, or something else that physically signals you are "in school."
Consider the "Do Not Disturb" function on your devices or a lockdown browser on your computer when you are trying to manage distraction.
Communicate regularly wtih your instructors for updates. Contact them if you are having any trouble in your class - use their 'virtual office hours.' (How to talk to your Instructor)
Don't forget to call, text and message friends, classmates and family.
